(TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a global leader in location and messaging software and E9-1-1 services for mobile operators, today announced that it has launched TCS Alerts(TM), its market leading, carrier-branded intelligent push/pull messaging platform that enables wireless carriers to manage highly relevant and easily customized notifications, thereby increasing network subscriber usage and driving Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) values.

TCS Alerts is 2.5G and 3G ready and provides proven scalability, availability and flexibility. TCS Alerts works with any structured content feed providing the ability to add & upgrade content in real-time. Content can be Short Message Service (SMS), Enhanced Message Service (EMS) and Mulitmedia Message Service (MMS) based on existing or proprietary sources and can be pre-configured with popular content categories. TCS Alerts is network, content and device independent and can be used as a stand-alone solution or key portal component.

TCS Alerts creates the opportunity to deepen subscriber loyalty by providing in-demand features that are highly marketable. For subscribers, the TCS Alerts platform provides standard, easy-to-use Web and mobile interfaces to setup and modify user profiles, notification services and delivery preferences. TCS Alerts integrates with the Xypoint(R) Location Platform, allowing the use of location information to increase the customization and relevance of subscriber alerts.

The TCS Alerts platform provides easy deployment, operations and use for wireless carriers. Hosted and in-network models are offered, with migration plans to move from one to the other. In addition, the billing integration capabilities manage billing codes for premium alerting or other pricing options.
