Tele Atlas Appoints New Members to Its Management Board Claus Helber from Bosch Joins as CFO, George Fink Becomes COO.

Tele Atlas, one of the worldwide leading companies engaged in the production and development of advanced geographic databases, globalizes its organisation and its top management team. At yesterday's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Mr. Claus Helber, from Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart, was appointed as statutory director of Tele Atlas N.V. in the function of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Helber replaces Mr. Hans van Hoorn, the current statutory director and CFO, who leaves the company. "We regret the decision of Mr. van Hoorn to leave the company and thank him for the many contributions to the success of Tele Atlas," says CEO Alain De Taeye.

Mr. George Fink, the current head of Tele Atlas's North American operation, was appointed as statutory director of Tele Atlas N.V in the function of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the entire group. He will continue to run day-to-day operations in the US.

Mr. Claus Helber (54) contributes his broad international and business experience, having worked for over 20 years in various top management functions for Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart, where he was - among other things - responsible for a global business unit with locations in the Netherlands, the US, Brazil, Japan and India. He has graduated in Electronic Engineering and Business Administration, receiving a doctorate in the latter. Helber comments: "Having worked at Robert Bosch for 22 years in various financial positions, I am happy to join a fast-growing and exciting company such as Tele Atlas."
