MORRISVILLE, N.C. -- Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC), a leading developer of high-performance network applications for next-generation fixed, mobile and packet networks, today announced delivery of ProBVA, a new reporting application that enhances the Tekelec Integrated Application Solutions (IAS) suite of revenue management solutions. ProBVA allows operators to leverage the wealth of information inherent in signaling data by integrating powerful billing verification and auditing applications to protect interconnect revenues.

Developed to provide summary and detailed views into a provider's network traffic, ProBVA offers a suite of customizable reports that provide operators with indisputable data for verifying inter-carrier bills as well as the information needed to properly collect and audit inter-carrier traffic revenues. The application accepts reference data from the local exchange routing guide (LERG) and other customer- defined enrichment resources, making it easier for customers to track and verify billing information with readable information rather than numerical data.

Tekelec's IAS suite of applications can be fully integrated with the EAGLE[R] 5 Integrated Signaling System (ISS) and next-generation switching solutions or function as a standalone solution.

While conventional monitoring systems track performance of the signaling network, IAS provides insight into the performance of the entire network, tracking service usage, voice facility usage and roaming activity as well as short messaging service (SMS)/multimedia messaging service (MMS) usage and content analysis.
