Tek-Tools, Inc., a provider of software development tools, announced today the release of JForge Ultra 3.0, the Visual Development Environment for building applications with JavaBeans A component software architecture from Sun that runs in the Java environment. JavaBeans are independent Java program modules that are called for and executed. They have been used primarily for developing user interfaces at the client side. (TM).

JForge Ultra 3.0 represents a new generation of Java(TM) development environments offering such dynamic features as support for visual and non-visual beans and event handling, while still retaining the functions of a traditional GUI builder Visual programming software that lets a user build a graphical user interface by dragging and dropping elements from a toolbar onto the screen. It may be a stand-alone program or part of an application development system or client/server development system. .

JForge Ultra 3.0, which works with Sun Microsystems'(TM) JDK (Java Development Kit) A Java software development environment from Sun. It includes the JVM, compiler, debugger and other tools for developing Java applets and applications. Each new version of the JDK adds features and enhancements to the language.  1.2, saves the developer time by categorizing visual beans (those represented graphically on the workspace) and non-visual beans (those that are not represented visually on the workspace but contribute to the functionality of the interface). Additionally, the new Quick Helper allows the developer to efficiently jump to the most commonly changed properties of beans.
