Teja Technologies Expands Executive Team With Industry Sales and Marketing Veterans; Additions Underscore Teja's Growth and Focus on Capitalizing on Emerging Market Opportunities.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Teja Technologies Inc., the leading supplier of embedded networking and communications software for multi-core processor architectures, today announced the expansion of its management team with the addition of two key industry sales and marketing executives. These additions will enable Teja to further accelerate its growth and ability to capitalize on opportunities in new emerging market segments. Ron Burns has joined as vice president of worldwide sales, responsible for driving Teja's sales strategy and expanding its global distribution channels. Bryon Moyer has joined as vice president of product marketing, responsible for driving the development of Teja's next generation products.

Ron Burns brings more than 20 years of electronic design automation (EDA), field programmable gate array (FPGA) and semiconductor sales and marketing experience to Teja. Most recently, Burns served as Axis Systems' vice president of marketing. Prior to Axis, he served as vice president of sales at InTime, Forte Design Systems, and director at Quickturn (acquired by Cadence), where he led a team that grew the business by more than 300%. Before that, Burns held sales management positions at NeoCAD, Silicon Compiler Systems (acquired by Mentor Graphics), and Harris Semiconductor. Burns holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Before joining Teja, Bryon Moyer served as senior director of tools and technical marketing at Actel Corp. where he was responsible for driving the product, tactical and strategic marketing for the company's EDA software and hardware tools. Prior to Actel, Moyer served as director of customer applications for Altera where he supported the introduction of new FPGA architectures and EDA tools. Previously, he held various marketing management and engineering positions at Cypress Semiconductor, Advanced Micro Devices and Monolithic Memories. Moyer holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
