Tectonic gets contract for highway ramp job.

 Taconic State Parkway The Taconic State Parkway is a part of the New York State highway system. For most of its route, the "Teaspoon" (TSP), as it is sometimes humorously referred to by "roadgeeks", is four lanes. . Construction of the new ramp, a new bridge over Route 9A/100 and a replacement bridge carrying Route 9A/ 100 is scheduled to be completed by June 2007.

Tectonic is providing construction inspection and resident engineering services necessary to ensure the quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness of the contractors' work. Tectonic will maintain full responsibility for coordinating the work of the con tractors and subcontractors, data collection required for preparing partial and final pay estimates, preparation of daily inspection reports and preparation of record as-built plans.

Tectonic will also oversee the contractors' operations relative to work zone traffic control and maintenance and protection of traffic to ensure the continuity of access and traffic flow through out the project.
