Technology Revival Spurs Launch of Izon Marketing; Experienced Executives Join Forces to Address Growing Market Need.

ATLANTA -- Two successful technology marketing executives, Ann Revell-Pechar and Gayle Mitrano, have partnered to form Izon Marketing and Public Relations, LLC. In response to the resurgence in technology startups, Izon will offer marketing strategies, event planning and public relations services that include go-to-market strategy, positioning and promotional activities.

"These emerging companies require focus, experience and deep relationships," said Ann Revell-Pechar, Izon co-founder. "Creative new ideas are becoming break-through businesses. Izon Marketing is designed from the ground-up to maximize exposure for these next generation success stories."

Ann Revell-Pechar founded Revell-Pechar Inc. in Seattle in 1993 and has since launched over 50 successful companies and thousands of products. Revell-Pechar is currently Programs Chair and Vice-Chair Elect for the MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta. Prior to founding Izon, Ann teamed with Gayle Mitrano to launch Teleo, Inc., a VoIP service targeting mobile professionals which, after receiving extensive international attention, was purchased by Microsoft to become part of the company's MSN offerings.

NEA is among the nation's largest venture capital firms and an Izon client. "We're seeing significant deal flow and growing optimism. The market is definitely ripe for businesses supporting the tech industry."

Joining NEA as Izon founding customers are several start-ups, including Palo Alto-based Itiva Digital Media and Atlanta-based Dliveo. Safend, from Tel Aviv and Philadelphia, and MontaguNewhall, a Baltimore-based venture capital firm, will move from RP Inc. to Izon as well.

While a partner at Realistic Solutions, Inc. (RSI), Gayle Mitrano provided marketing strategy and services to emerging technology firms for twelve years, and prior to that, worked at Sprint, Sales Technologies and CogniTech. "It's the right time for a company like Izon," said Gayle Mitrano, Izon co-founder. "Our clients are in front of the curve, so it makes our jobs easier to create the buzz in the market among key press, potential investors, partners and customers."

Supporting members of the Izon Marketing team are Heather Lazenby and Lauren Harshaw. Heather joined Revell-Pechar, Inc. in the summer of 2004, applying her background in broadcast journalism and corporate media communications. Lauren recently joined Izon Marketing after working with VNU, Inc., a leading information and media company, as both Marketing Manager for VNU Expositions and Information Marketing Manager with VNU Business Publications.
