Technology Review's Emerging Technologies Conference to Explore Issues Facing Women in Technological Fields.CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- While women make up about half of the workforce, they continue to be underrepresented in technological fields1. In an effort to raise awareness of the issues facing women working in these fields, Technology Review is hosting a full-day workshop on Women in Technology as part of its 7th annual Emerging Technologies Conference beginning September 25 at MIT MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology . The workshop is designed to explore solutions to some of the most common challenges facing women in technology including workplace culture, gender stereotyping, and societal influences.
