TechnoConcepts to Establish Korean Presence Following Successful Technology Demonstration to Korean Telecommunications & Electronics Organizations.

VAN NUYS, Calif. -- Following the successful historic demonstration of its True Software Radio(TM) (TSR) technology before executives and engineers from electronics and telecommunications designers and manufacturers, service providers and research organizations in South Korea, TechnoConcepts, Inc. (OTCBB:TCPS) today announced that it will establish a business office and technical support team in Korea. Antonio Turgeon, chairman and CEO of TechnoConcepts, made the announcement.

In connection with this initiative, Turgeon announced the following appointments:

--Jin Chan Kim, formerly of Daewoo Telecommunications, has been named a business development advisor in South Korea.

--Gi Yong Kwon, formerly of SK Telecom, has been named a technical advisor in South Korea; and

--Sang Hyen Jang has been named the general manager of TechnoConcepts Korean operations.

Jin Chan Kim was formerly chairman and CEO of Mercury Corp, as well as a managing director and vice president of Information and Communications for Daewood Telecom Ltd. Before that he was a director at Kwangjin Electronics Corp, which was acquired by Daewoo Telecom.

Gi Yong Kwon has significant experience in wire and wireless internet business as a result of his work in the past with SK Communications Corporation where he served from 1996 through 2002. Most recently he was employed by PNP Partners Corporation and Ilitrend Co. Ltd. He holds a bachelor of engineering in Electrical Engineering.

Sang Hyen Jang has worked with companies that include Rexsoft, Ltd., Global Knowledge Co., Ltd., NCNI Co., Ltd., Osicom Co., Ltd., NewWBridge Co., Ltd., Kore@netCo., Ltd. ADC Co., Ltd., and Datacom Co., Ltd. In these roles he has been involved specifically in the sales area as well as serving as a new business director.

TechnoConcepts demonstrated its True Software Radio(TM) (TSR) receiver that processes radio frequency (RF) signals in the licensed and unlicensed frequency ranges without any of the traditional front-end analog and RF circuitry to more than 40 representatives of 16 different wireless communications companies in Korea recently. Those who attended the demonstration included individuals from ETRI (Electronic and Telecommunications Research Institute), SK Telecom, SK Telesys, LG Electronics, Inc., Samsung Venture Investment Corp., Axesstel R & D Center, Ltd., Bellwave Co., Ltd., C & S Co., Ltd., Cablerex, Inc., Hyunseo Data Communications, Ltd., Kisan Telecom Co., Ltd., Megacraft Company, Ltd., Mobianet Corporation, System Mecca Company, Ltd., as well as research and development engineers from the South Korean government.

TechnoConcepts' TSR technology (based upon its patented RF/D(TM) direct conversion process) demonstrated interoperability between differing communications frequencies, an accomplishment that was impossible to achieve utilizing a single receiver until now. In the demonstration, a single TSR receiver chip using only software, with no other analog front-end filter or circuitry, was able to receive, translate and process different remote signals between 450 MHz and 1.2 GHz, including a walkie talkie operating at 465 MHz.

Techno's TSR receiver chip - a single wireless receiver - was shown to communicate directly with different devices on multiple different frequency bands, using only software to receive, translate and process the different wireless signals. With TSR, the flexibility to communicate with and among different frequencies (and devices) is virtually unlimited.

Applications for the company's technology include: cellular base stations, consumer devices such as cellular phones, television, HDTV, IPTV Set-top Boxes as well as government uses such as public safety, emergency response and homeland security.
