TechnoConcepts Files Patent for Another Revolutionary Breakthrough; Intellectual Property Protection for Signal Interference Cancellation; Breakthrough Low Power Solution Provides for Cost-Effective Applications.

VAN NUYS, Calif. -- TechnoConcepts, Inc. (OTCBB:TCPS) today announced a new provisional patent filing for protection of its "Adaptive Narrow Band Interference Canceller for Broadband Signals" design, a key invention that solves an industry wide problem of how to cancel signal interference. This invention solves the problem across a broad frequency band. While this patent application is another in a series of patents covering its unique RF/D(TM) converter and True Software Radio (TSR(TM)) technologies, it is applicable to a broad range of communications devices for both wired and wireless environments. The recent, current, and future filings are the result of a continuing series of major advancements being developed by the Company for the wireless industry.

Dr. Oleg Panfilov, Chief Scientific Officer of the Company stated: "Most modern wideband cellular systems as well as wireless local and metropolitan area networks (WiFi, WiMAX) are using broadband signals requiring wideband front end receivers. However, proliferation of multiple standards creates system interoperability problems and degrades efficiency of spectrum utilization, as well as increasing the cost of communication services. TechnoConcepts' unique solution to the demands of operating in the multi-standard environment is direct down conversion from RF to baseband frequency bands. The airwaves are filled with interference and noise. The analysis of spectrum occupancy measurements in a broad range of frequencies showed that design of direct down-conversion receivers providing conversion from RF to baseband poses the challenge of maintaining linearity in broadband receivers in light of potentially unpredictable levels of outband narrow band interference. This invention solves the problem of how to cancel the interference and eliminate the noise without impairing the desired signal at the same time."
