TechnoConcepts Files Patent Application for Key Transmitter Circuit.

VAN NUYS, Calif. -- TechnoConcepts Inc., (OTCBB:TCPS) today announced that it has filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a vital circuit for its transmitter, that automatically eliminates quantization noise while adjusting to the correct frequency. The patent application lists 20 claims.

"This is a critical component of our direct conversion transmission invention. We know of no other digital filters that can operate continuously across different frequency bands or that automatically adjust to the proper frequency when transmitting Radio Frequency ("RF") signals. This circuit does both," said Antonio Turgeon, chairman of TechnoConcepts.

The application claims the benefit of its provisional patent application filed last year and protects a key component of the company's transmitter chip, which is expected to be available to customers on an engineering sampling basis in summer 2006.
