Companies Partner to Bring to Market 5.9 GHz DSRC Solutions

ENCINO, Calif. & SALT LAKE CITY -- TechnoCom Corporation (http://www.technocom-wireless.com), a leader in 5.9 GHz Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) technologies for Vehicle Integration Infrastructure (VII) applications, and Card Access[TM] Inc., a leading developer of wireless communications products, have formed an alliance to establish Card Access as a TechnoCom compatible design center providing 802.11 compliant radio devices that are designed to work with TechnoCom's IEEE 1609 and 5.9 GHz DSRC/ WAVE Software.

As part of the alliance, Card Access is offering hardware and custom development of hardware solutions for WAVE/DSRC. TechnoCom provides software solutions for WAVE/DSRC and VII to interface with the roadside and intelligent intersection equipment and wireless communications interfaces to the vehicles. Both companies have agreed to distribute each other's technology creating opportunities for incorporating enhanced functionality and interfaces to TechnoCom's DSRC solutions.
