In addition, the platform's Programmable Event Generator(TM) (PEG(TM)), an on-board rules-based alert engine, monitors and reacts to equipment conditions and proactively generates events and alerts based on location and other parameters, such as vehicular inputs, sensor alarms, speed, distance, and time of day. The proprietary messaging API assures reliable data delivery and includes comprehensive unit management such as over-the-air firmware downloading and programming.
