TechWing Announces Preliminary Injunction in Taiwan to Have No Effect on Business.

SEOUL, South Korea -- TechWing,Inc, semiconductor memory test handler maker in Korea announced that we do not receive the official ruling on the preliminary injunction filed by Advantest from HsinChu District Court (Taiwan) yet because this ruling has not been enforced until Advantest posts the bond to the court.

Even if the ruling will be enforced there will be no sales decrease and damages in Taiwan by preliminary injunction because the models accused by Advantest one and half years ago had not been sold anymore.

TechWing also said, "The preliminary injunction system in Taiwan is different from that in Korea or other country."

That means if TechWing posts the counter bond to the court after receiving the written ruling from the court, the injunction order will be lifted. Therefore there is no problem of TechWing to use or sell handler in Taiwan.

The relevant people said "Invalidation Judgments filed by TechWing at TIPO (Taiwan Intellectual Property Office) are in progress and will be favorable to TechWing in the near future because Korean Patent Court and Korean Industrial Property Tribunal ruled that 3 same patents issued in Korea (counterpart of Taiwan patents) already were invalidated and TechWing's handler were not read on Advantest 3 patents."
