TechTarget to launch "CIO Decisions" in April.


TechTarget (Needham, MA) will begin the production of its third magazine title with the launch of CIO CIO: see American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations.

 Decisions in April, 2005. The monthly magazine will have a controlled circulation of 60,000 chief information officers and senior IT executives involved in setting their organizations' IT budgets and priorities. TechTarget currently produces Information Security and Storage magazines in addition to its many IT-specific web sites.

CIO Decisions will launch as part of the TechTarget CIO Decisions Media Group, which will produce a series of media and events to serve the information needs of midmarket Midmarket

 IT executives "at every phase of the IT buying and decision cycle," the company said. An accompanying web site will also be launched in April and the "CIO Decisions Conference" will launch in July.

Content will cover deployment and application of IT systems and personnel and processes. TechTarget ceo Greg Strakosch said "we recognize that midmarket CIOs face special demands to perform in the face of escalating business and technological complexity. These executives will embrace a publication that finally speaks to their needs."
