The training also provides spaces to discuss potential problems with colleagues and ideas and resources to help with the delivery of the program within the schools. Interventions which expect teachers to act as conduits of HIV and sexuality information need to address the various issues which confront these individuals in the delivery of this information. By providing teachers with authoritative referents and resources and addressing their concerns about the delivery of HIV information, PSABH has been a successful motivator for the inclusion of HIV programming in classes and in school activities. |
