The two closed titles were both launched in 1991. Essential Teacher will be distributed to all TESOL members as an association benefit and is available via subscription for non-members. The title has an initial controlled circulation of 16,000 and focuses on the professional development of TESOL educators at all levels. Its mission is to "inspire and inform ESL (1) An earlier family of client/server development tools for Windows and OS/2 from Ardent Software (formerly VMARK). It was originally developed by Easel Corporation, which was acquired by VMARK. and EFL EFL - Extended Fortran Language teachers and their professional collegues with articles on field-related issues." Editorial includes the regular features: "Communities of Practice," a section about the challenges that come from teaching English; "Portal," a section that examines new technologies as relevant to teachers, technologists and administrators; reviews of mixed media products, such as books, software, CDs, by teachers; and, a section that includes "innovative work from inside and outside the English language teaching world," TESOL said. An online complement to the title, "Compleat Links," is thematically linked to the print magazine and carries additional information. |
