Bill Dears, CEO, TaskPoint, Inc. announced the appointment of Rick J. Piper as Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

In his position Mr. Piper will report directly to Mr. Dears. He will be responsible for leading the company's sales and marketing efforts targeted to the construction and related industries, and leveraging the company's technology expertise to benefit its customers.

Prior to joining TaskPoint, Piper was the general manager for Rammer Products Division of Sandvik Tramrock, where he was directly responsible for all aspects of Rammer Products in the US and Mexico. His responsibilities included the direction of sales, engineering, service, accounting and the customer service sectors, as well as support of the dealer networks. Prior to holding the General Manager position, Piper was National Sales Manager for Rammer, Inc. and helped increase overall sales of Rammer products by sixty percent.

Piper is well known and respected in the industry. He is an active member and participant in key industry associations such as Associated Equipment Distributors, Construction Industry Manufacturers Association and Mounted Brakers Manufacturers Bureau.
