The new agreement will enable Targus to expand its complete notebook solutions offerings to resellers throughout North America.

The global market for notebook computers continues to grow, and for a couple of years, notebook sales are steadily gaining on surpassing the unit volume sales of desktop computers, according to industry analyst group NPD, Port Washington, N.Y., and the revenue generated from notebooks has long surpassed desktops, due to higher average selling prices for notebooks.
