Tangent Announces VITA All-In-One Flat Panel Touch Screen LCD PC for the Health Care Industry; Space Saving LCD PC Designed for IT Professionals, Doctors, Dentists, Hospital Administrators and Other Health Care Workers.


BURLINGAME, Calif. -- Tangent, Inc., today announced VITA, a space saving and low power consumption ALL-IN-ONE LCD PC that integrates a flat panel 17-inch LCD touch screen display into a slim, attractive aluminum chassis that fits ergonomically into any health care practitioner's office or a hospital environment.

The Tangent VITA has been designed with many features to benefit the health care and therapy industries, which include a space saving design, rugged sanitary aluminum enclosure, low power consumption, cordless keyboard and mouse, built-in-speakers, WIFI LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. The "clients" are the user's workstations typically running Windows, although Mac and Linux clients are also used.  capabilities.

Data entry can be by stylus or by optional touch screen on the display. The display has a tilt range from -5 degrees to +25 degrees to provide viewing comfort and ergonomic flexibility.
