On one page, the reader finds an artwork with title, artist, and its year, as well as a rhyme rhyme or rime, the most prominent of the literary artifices used in versification. Although it was used in ancient East Asian poetry, rhyme was practically unknown to the ancient Greeks and Romans.  containing an addition problem to solve. The opposite page presents an object found in the artwork grouped in several different ways. Through these groupings, the reader can creatively solve the rhyme's problem. Solutions to the problems and art notes are provided. This is a wonderful "addition" to anyone's book collection. Ages 5-10.
