Tanaka Expands Relationship with ARI.

MILWAUKEE -- ARI Continues to Strengthen Its Position in the Outdoor Power Industry

ARI (OTCBB:ARIS), a leading provider of technology-enabled business solutions that help equipment dealers build sales and profits, announced today that Tanaka America, of Auburn, WA has expanded its relationship with ARI by licensing EMPARTweb(TM), ARI's electronic parts catalog, and Shopping Cart. Tanaka will also continue to provide ARI's PartSmart(R) electronic catalog product for use by its dealers throughout the U.S.

Under the new agreement, ARI will host EMPARTweb and provide an interface to Tanaka's website to allow their approximately 2,000 dealers, 15 master distributors and consumers to have on-demand access to Tanaka's parts and service catalogs for their extensive product line of grass and hedge trimmers, engines, power blowers, lawn edgers, chain saws, pumps, augers and portable drills. In addition, Tanaka's dealers and distributors will be able to submit online purchase orders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year using ARI's Shopping Cart feature. EMPARTweb and Shopping Cart are expected to be available by the end of the summer.

According to Elmer, Tanaka plans to interface ARI's Shopping Cart with their back-end system later this year.
