, a veteran chamber of commerce executive from New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 State, joined the Detroit Regional Chamber in July as executive vice president with primary responsibility for membership sales, retention and marketing.

Carnrike had been president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of the Chenango County Chamber of Commerce in Norwich, N.Y., for the past 10 years and a member of the Chenango management team for nine years prior.

"I've never seen Tammy in a role where she didn't rise to the top," said Richard E. Blouse Jr., CCE, president and CEO. "She has the mark of a true leader, and we're excited to have her as part of our team."

In her nearly two decades with the Chenango Chamber, Carnrike expanded the organization's programs, membership and scope. Her deep understanding of the region and its business needs, combined with her knowledge of best practices and national trends, fueled the Chamber's growth.
