Talking Johns.

New Mexico is taking its fight against drunk driving into men's restrooms. The state has ordered 500 talking urinals (to be placed in bars and restaurants) that will deliver a warning to potential drunk drivers. "Hey there, big guy. Having a few drinks?" a female voice says. "It's time to call a cab or ask a sober friend for a ride home." Invented by Richard Deutsch, he says they are a one of a kind. "The idea is based on the concept that there is no more captive audience than a guy standing at a urinal," he says. Public awareness campaigns in Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Australia have also used the devices.
