If you are not doing anything wrong, you shouldn't be worried about what people hear. The government won't announce to everyone about your personal life if you weren't involved in any trouble. If you're doing what you're supposed to, you have nothing to worry about. If somebody was listening in on my conversations, I'd be appalled. If the government has a reason to eavesdrop, it should be free to do so. But spying on civilians? Dear CE, I think the government should not be allowed to eavesdrop on U.S. citizens' phone calls or e-mail. It is an invasion of privacy invasion of privacy n. the intrusion into the personal life of another, without just cause, which can give the person whose privacy has been invaded a right to bring a lawsuit for damages against the person or entity that intruded. . This also goes against the Ninth Amendment rights kept by the people. This amendment means that Americans have rights other than what is in the Constitution. This includes privacy. --Maya L., N.C.
