The step-by-step recovery plan aims to help people afflicted by natural disasters regain financial balance.

"Previously, there were no comprehensive, authoritative, easy-to-use resources for victims of disaster," said CaICPA member Mitchell Freedman, who was instrumental in the writing of the guide. "It gives people a roadmap so that they can sit back, take stock and make decisions as to how they should proceed."
