Taking Stock for the New Year. (LABJ Forum).While the stunning events of 2001 have led to plenty of soul-searching about the important things in life, there's still opportunity to consider any and all priorities for the coming year. My New Year's resolution A New Year's Resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. The name comes from the fact that these commitments normally go into effect on New Year's Day and remain until the set is to run my first marathon in March that being the L.A. Marathon. It's a challenge I've never accomplished. Every year I say I'm going to do it, and this year I'm really going to do it. I've already started training for it. I'm actually running some pretty long distances. I've already run 20 miles. I'd like to see more economic development projects like the SunQuest Office Park in Sun Valley. Personally, my goal is to finish a 10-K race in 50 minutes or less. The tragedy and drama we all went through is so big that it is something I wouldn't want to repeat. Richard Ayson Director of Marketing Hollywood Entertainment Museum The museum for me is the best kept secret in L.A., so as an over rider, my resolution is to change that -- to make it known to the broadest possible audience as we can. We're putting together a formal advertising and marketing campaign. Personally, I'm new to L.A., so the key thing is to find a balance between play and work. I've just come from London, where the weather was dreadful and life always seemed about work, work, work. There's an incredible quality of life here, and I really want to get up every day and embrace that.
