Takeda Pharmaceutical, Affymax Conclude Licensing Agreement for Hematide, Renal/Malignant Anemia Treatment Agent.


Tokyo, Japan, Feb 14, 2006 - (JCN) - Takeda Pharmaceutical announced on February 13 that it has entered into an exclusive agreement with Affymax for Hematide, Affymax's proprietary agent indicated for the treatment of renal and malignant anemia.

Under the agreement terms, Takeda will be able to exclusively develop and market the agent in Japan.
