Take-Two Interactive Software, Evergreen Resources and Unit Corp. Added to S&P SmallCap 600 Index.

      NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2001--Standard & Poor's will
make the following changes in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index:

      --  Take-Two Interactive Software (NASD:TTWO) will replace Webb
        (Del) Corp. (NYSE:WBB) after the close of trading Tuesday,
        July 31, 2001. Webb (Del) Corp. is being acquired by S&P 500
        component Pulte Homes, Inc. (NYSE:PHM) pending a shareholder
        vote.

      --  Evergreen Resources (NYSE:EVG) will replace HS Resources
        (NYSE:HSE) after the close of trading Wednesday, August 1,
        2001. HS Resources is being acquired by S&P 500 component
        Kerr-McGee (NYSE:KMG) pending a shareholder vote on that date.

      --  Unit Corp. (NYSE:UNT) will replace Barrett Resources Corp.
        (NYSE:BRR) after the close of trading Thursday, August 2,
        2001. Barrett Resources Corp. is being acquired by S&P 500
        component Williams Cos. (NYSE:WMB) pending a shareholder vote
        on that date.

      Take-Two Interactive Software is a global developer, publisher and
distributor of interactive software games. The company, headquartered
in New York City, will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS
Application Software sub-industry group and the Computers (Software &
Services) industry group.
      Evergreen Resources is an independent energy company engaged in
the development, production, operation, exploration and acquisition of
natural gas properties. The company, headquartered in Denver, will be
added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Oil & Gas Exploration & Production
sub-industry group and the Oil & Gas (Exploration & Production)
industry group.
      Unit Corp. is engaged in the land contract drilling of natural gas
and oil wells and the exploration, development, acquisition and
production of oil and natural gas properties. The company,
headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be added to the S&P SmallCap
600 GICS Oil & Gas Drilling sub-industry group and the Oil & Gas
(Drilling & Equipment) industry group.
