Take that, Pat - and hands off Frank.
In one of the most vicious fights ever filmed by a soap, Peggy and Pat finally unleash their anger on each other on Tuesday night.
The special, which stars Pam St Clements and Barbara Windsor, was so powerful that it had to have scenes and dialogue cut so it could be screened before the 9pm watershed. But even in its diluted version, our pictures show that it's set to be one of the most impressive episodes of all time.
"The writer didn't want a namby- pamby cat fight between two silly girls," says Barbara Windsor, who was bruised during the filming.
"We were throwing chairs and bottles and the adrenaline was at a high. When I saw the programme I couldn't believe how good it was. Pam and I were really proud."
The two women lash out after weeks of bitchy comments and dirty looks. The final straw comes when Peggy jumps to the wrong conclusion about boyfriend Frank's relationship with his ex-wife, Pat.
When Pat's husband Roy hears about it, he drives out of the Square in a frenzy.
Frank (right) chases after him, leaving Pat and Peggy together. And the two women don't pull any punches in their competition for the biggest- bitch-in-Walford trophy.
Nothing is too low for them in their war of words - not even Roy's impotence - as Peggy hurls an empty glass at Pat's head and screams: "You ain't nothing to write home about darlin'...no wonder Roy can't do it."
Roy, meanwhile, is set to turn to Viagra for help in a new storyline.
