PAINTINGS by renowned artist Lucian Freud Lucian Michael Freud, OM, CH (born 8 December 1922) is a British painter and printmaker. Freud was born in Berlin, Germany in 1922, son of Jewish parents Ernst Ludwig Freud, an architect, and Lucie née Brasch.  are to be included in a new city centre exhibition.

Freud, who has painted celebrities such as Jerry Hall Jerry Faye Hall (born July 2, 1956 in Gonzales, Texas) is an American supermodel and actress known for being Mick Jagger's long-time companion and common law wife. Early life
Hall's autobiography, entitled Jerry Hall's Tall Tales, was published in 1985.
 and, more recently, Kate Moss, was a student at the East Anglian School of Painting and Drawing (EASPD EASPD European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities ), which is run by artists Cedric Morris and Lett Haines. An exhibition on their contribution to art and art education, called Teaching Life and Art, is to open at the National Museum and Gallery in Cardiff tomorrow.

Swansea-born Morris and Haines, a teacher, founded the EASPD to teach painting, life and design classes, with a heavy emphasis on the artist's individual creativity.

As well as helping many amateur artists to flourish, the pair taught a number of artists who went on to make a name in the art world, such as Freud and Maggi Hambling.

Teaching Life and Art is accompanied by a colour-illustrated catalogue, a series of lunchtime talks and study day. For more details, contact the National Museum and Gallery on 029 2039 7951.
