Takara Bio to Provide RetroNectin to City of Hope National Medical Center for Clinical Trial of AIDS Gene Therapy.


Tokyo, Japan, Dec 16, 2005 - (JCN) - Takara Bio announced on December 15 that it will provide RetroNectin, its proprietary recombinant human fibronectin fragment, to the City of Hope National Medical Center City of Hope is one of 39 NCI-designated Cancer Centers and is located in the city of Duarte, California. City of Hope comprises an ambulatory and in-patient cancer treatment center as well as a biomedical research facility known as the Beckman Research Institute and the City of Hope , a US medical institution specializing in the research of cancer, diabetes and AIDS.
