Specifically, in its current mice experiments, Takanashi confirmed that the combination of the two strains can exert beneficial effects on allergic rhinitis.

The company plans to present details of the research at the Annual Meeting of Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry 2006 to be held in March 2006.
