This has demonstrated high quality measurement for telecommunication market as well as that already established for EMC countermeasure. From end-product manufacturers' point of view, burden of compliance with national radio regulations is growing, as personal computers and other equipment are recently equipped with telecommunication including Bluetooth(R) and wireless LAN. Since test reports issued by Taiyo Yuden EMC Center, an accredited laboratory with ISO 17025 certification for both EMC and telecommunication, can be used for compliance in most countries in the world, customers themselves will be able to export and sell their products to those countries and areas. This will make an enormous contribution to saving customers' time and costs.

Multi-function cellular phones with built-in camera and color LCD have caused the problem of internal noise interference. Taiyo Yuden EMC Center has obtained world's first ISO 17025 certification for measurement with Taiyo Yuden's original unique measurement equipment, which is effective for measuring high frequency electromagnetic noise, in adjacent electromagnetic field. This allows to provide highly reliable measurement results based on international standards for noise in cellular phones and other equipment. It also enables EMC countermeasure and radio characteristic assessment in the development phase of modules which will be embedded in equipment, pre-assessment in the development of equipment, and EMC countermeasure in early phase.

Taiyo Yuden EMC Center

Taiyo Yuden EMC Center was established in June 1988 to provide EMC technical service by Open Area Test Site. Certified as Asia's first BQTF BQTF Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility  (Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility) in 2001, it has developed abilities in assessment test as well.

The center built an anechoic chamber equipped with world-leading high frequency assessment technology in 2003. This established a system which enables comprehensive and high-level measurement and assessment of a range from electronic parts to semiconductor and electronic equipment.
