: 4535) announced on August 3 that it has received approval from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare for an OTC-switched version of Zaditen Nasal Solution, an antiallergic an·ti·al·ler·gic
adj.
Preventing or relieving allergies.


antiallergic adjective Countering allergy or an allergic state
 agent developed by Novartis Pharma.

Taisho will distribute OTC-switched Zaditen as its Pabron series through pharmacies across Japan while Novartis Pharma will import it.

Containing ketotifen fumarate as a main ingredient, the product helps alleviate nasal allergy symptoms due to pollen and house-dust mites.
