This designation reflects Tainet's commitment to working closely with Clarent to offer full-featured VoIP-over-broadband solutions for residential and enterprise applications.

An integral component of a complete VoIP-over-last-mile offering, Tainet's customer premise gateways interface with traditional phones and fax machines. Tainet's Venus 2832 -- a cost-effective, modular, Ethernet-based MGCP device capable of supporting 8 to 32 analog phone/fax ports -- underwent a comprehensive and standardized test plan that includes over 140 test case scenarios, ensuring support for basic voice services plus a variety of popular custom calling and CLASS features. Tainet's Venus 2832 has successfully demonstrated compatibility with Clarent's Edge Access Softswitch components, including Clarent Command Center, Clarent Class 5 Call Manager and Clarent media gateways.
