Ted was born in Holyoke on January 25, 1958, son of Jadwiga (Florczek) and the late Frank Atanowski, but lived in Gilbertville for 30 years. Ted is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Stephanie (Wlodarczyk) Atanowski; his son, Nicholas Atanowski of Gilbertville; his two daughters, Christine Atanowski of Gilbertville and Rachael Wasser of Jacksonville, NC; his mother, Jadwiga Atanowski of Westhampton; and four sisters, Jane Thayer of Westhampton, Danuta Vasiliou of Quaker Hill Quaker Hill is a village in the town of Waterford, Connecticut, in the southeastern part of the state. It is bordered to the east by the Thames River. It is bordered to the south by the city of New London, to the north by the town of Montville and to the west by the Cohanzie , CT, Emilia Falkowski of Ansonia, CT, and Helena Atanowski of Florence, MA.
