Taco Bell Bids

Two general contractors have inked remodeling contracts worth a total of $215,000 with Taco Bell. The two Little Rock properties were former Chiquito's Take-Outs sites.

Stovall Construction Co. in Kennedale, Texas, is taking care of the 8108 Geyer Springs project (3,360 SF, $115,000). L.R. Mourning Co. will be overseeing work on the 6223 Asher location (2,430 SF, $100,000).

Taco Bell, based in Irving, Calif., bought the properties from local businessman Jerry N. Haynie for $676,000. Haynie paid $196,000 for the sites in 1983 plus an undeveloped commercial lot he also sold to Taco Bell.
