Running back Marc Tyler Marc Tyler (born September 27, 1988 in Palmdale, California) is an American football running back for the University of Southern California Trojans football team. High school career
Tyler attended Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California.
 scored five times as Oaks Christian, ranked first in Small Schools and No. 4 overall by the Daily News, defeated Carpinteria 48-10 Friday night for its 25th consecutive victory.

Tyler accounted for 220 of Oaks Christian's 274 yards rushing in the Tri-Valley League game at Carpinteria.

 gave Oaks Christian (7-0, 3-0) a 27-0 lead at the half. Tyler tacked on scoring runs of 68 and 6 yards in the third quarter to extend the lead to 41-7.

Carpinteria (5-3, 1-2) was led by quarterback Steven Brantingham, who rushed 33 times for 171 yards and completed 6 of 15 passes for 73 yards.

--Oak Park 28, Nordhoff 22: Quarterback Doug Deakin rushed for two touchdowns and passed for one, and defensive back Gabe Derricks had two crucial interceptions as visiting Oak Park (4-3, 2-1) held on for a win against Nordhoff of Ojai (6-2, 2-2) to take over second place in the Tri- Valley League.

Derricks' interception at the Oak Park 6-yard line with 14 seconds left clinched the victory.
