TWO LEADING CLEVELAND OFFICE EQUIPMENT FIRMS TO MERGE
CLEVELAND, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- ACE Copy Equipment and American Office Systems (AOS) announced today that they will combine their fine resources and merge as one strong company serving the Northern Ohio business community.
The new company brings a combined 32 years of high-level office equipment sales and service experience, according to the new firm's officers, John Baron, president, and Anthony J. Mangia, executive vice president.
"We are truly excited about this unique opportunity to create a new Cleveland company established on an already strong customer base," said Baron. "This merger will enhance our existing resources and strengthen our commitment to making our customers' business more efficient and effective."
"Service has always been key for our success in the past," not Mangia, "we have long provided the Northern Ohio business market with the best people, products and performance, and pledge to continue this level of service as well as bring some exciting new products to the marketplace."
The new firm will continue to distribute and service the dependable, award-winning Ricoh and Konica office copying and facsimile machines. The merged company will combine for more than 95 employees and plans to acquire a new office site in the greater Cleveland area. The new facility will be more efficient than its present two locations and be larger to accommodate the anticipated growth of the firm.
Baron and Mangia have more than 30 years combined experience in the office equipment sales and service industry, and each has served as the respective president of ACE and AOS prior to the merger.
