 TWO KEY EXECUTIVES FROM AUTODESK JOIN BIOMECHANICS CORPORATION

 MELVILLE, N.Y., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Biomechanics Corporation of America (NASDAQ: BCAM), a leading provider of ergonomic consulting services and products, today reported it has continued to strengthen its management team with the appointment of two executives formerly with Autodesk, Inc.
 Joel L. Sher has been recently elected a director of Biomechanics. Currently he is the executive vice president as well as president and CEO of its HumanCAD Division. At software manufacturer Autodesk, Inc., he served as multimedia sales director. His previous positions included sales director of General Parametrics Corp., director of sales and marketing for the I.B.S. Division of Allied Signal Corp., and president and CEO of Professional Computer Corp. Sher began his career in sales for Sperry Univac Corp. He has an M.B.A. degree from Wright State University and a B.S. in marketing from Wilkes College.
 Chris Maynard has been appointed sales director, ergonomic programs, reporting to Sher. In that capacity, Maynard's duties include supervision of regional account managers. Previously responsible for major account sales at Autodesk, Inc. after earlier involvement in both sales and management at General Parametrics, Inc., he is a graduate of Miami University.
