TWO JAILED AFTER TRUCK THEFT, KNIFE ASSAULT.

PALMDALE - Two ex-convicts are in custody on suspicion of the theft of a truck and of assault with a knife outside a Wal-Mart store.

The two, who may have been involved in a mail theft ring, had attempted to use a stolen credit card to buy merchandise at the west Palmdale Wal-Mart, deputies said.

 Kevin Schoen, 28, of Lancaster was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon Assault with a Deadly Weapon is the term used to describe the act of threatening to harm one or more people by using a weapon (usually a firearm). The truck had been stolen sometime Sunday night Sunday Night, later named Michelob Presents Night Music, was an NBC late-night television show which aired for two seasons between 1988 and 1990 as a showcase for jazz and eclectic musical artists.  or early Monday. On Monday afternoon, a relative of the truck's owner saw the vehicle pull into the Wal-Mart parking lot. She called the truck's owner, who came to the store parking lot with friends and co-workers.

After spotting Schoen and Biscoe walking toward the parked truck, they tried to detain de·tain

Schoen pulled a knife and slashed the truck owner's friend twice on the hand, deputies said. Deputies arrived and took the men into custody.

During a search of the vehicle, investigators found a small amount of methamphetamine, an unregistered gun and various credit cards in other people's names.

Investigators searched Schoen's home and found more stolen mail and credit cards, as well as various other items.
