TWO HURT IN PICKUP-BIG RIG COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 138.

LANCASTER -- Two people were seriously injured in a collision between a big rig Big Rig was a punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area fronted by singer/songwriter Jesse Michaels. Michaels performed with the group after the break up of his previous project, Operation Ivy, and before forming the band Common Rider.  and a pickup truck that was passing slower-moving vehicles on two-lane Highway 138.

Pickup driver Khalifeh Musharbash, 51, of Chino Chino (chē`nō), city (1990 pop. 59,682), San Bernardino co., S Calif.; founded 1887, inc. 1910. Musharbash's 2006 Dodge pickup was traveling east at 60 or 65 mph, passing slower-moving vehicles, near 190th Street West when he saw the big rig coming the other direction.

 said. The big rig's driver, Marcelino Zaragoza, 47, of Lindsay, also hit his brakes.

Just as the big rig slowed to a stop, the swerving pickup truck's left rear hit the big rig's front end, the CHP said. The big rig driver was not hurt.
