TWO AUTO VICTIMS ID'D MAN, TEENAGE BOY ARE KILLED IN CRASHES THAT HURT 5 OTHERS.

ACTON - A teenage boy killed Saturday when a Magic Mountain-bound minivan blew a tire and overturned on the Antelope Valley Freeway The Antelope Valley Freeway is a freeway in Los Angeles and Kern counties in southern California. It is signed as California State Highway 14 along its length. It connects Greater Los Angeles to the rapidly developing Antelope Valley.  was identified as 14-year-old Eric Buchanan Jr. of Lancaster.

A motorist killed in an earlier crash on the freeway eight miles away was identified as Gerardo Delgado, 27, of Quartz Hill, Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County coroner's officials said.

 officials said. Delgado was thrown part way out of the car.

The van crashed about 11:30 a.m. Saturday just south of Crown Valley Road. The 1994 Dodge Caravan blew its right rear tire and went out of control, overturning in a drainage culvert.

The boy and two other passengers were thrown out of the van as it flipped.
