TVI Corporation Receives More Than $2 Million in Contracts from U.S. and Canadian Military for Temporary Facilities.

Company to Supply Mobile Temporary Facilities to Fort Stewart, Georgia and Fort Bliss, Texas

GLENN DALE, Md. -- TVI Corporation (NASDAQ: TVIN), a global supplier of first receiver and first responder products and provider of event shelter and equipment rentals, today announced its Signature Special Event Services ("Signature") subsidiary has received contracts, valued at more than $2 million, to supply temporary facilities at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Fort Bliss, Texas, to support onsite training exercises for the United States and Canadian Armed Forces.

Under a $1.7 million contract, Signature will supply the U.S. Military at Fort Stewart, Georgia, with 221,000 square feet of temporary mobile facilities for use as sleeping quarters, dining areas and latrines. The facilities also will include a wide range of generators, HVAC and additional support equipment that Signature will maintain on a round-the-clock basis during training exercises. Signature has already initiated site preparation work and begun facility installation, which the company expects to fully complete in one week's time.

The Signature temporary facilities will be part of the 4th Brigade Vanguard Focus, which is a preparatory training exercise for National Training Center (NTC) rotation. This is a critical exercise because it provides soldiers with training prior to their National Training Center rotation and deployment to Iraq.

Signature also will accommodate the Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group at Dona Anna Base Camp in Fort Bliss, Texas, with temporary tenting facilities. Under the contract, worth more than $300,000, Signature will provide lighting, electrical and HVAC equipment, sleeping quarters and mobile kitchens.
