PAPRs are designed to support the military, first responders and anyone facing respiratory threats. "This country-wide, direct order from the SCDF illustrates SafetyTech's superb reputation in the global first responder marketplace," said President and Chief Executive Officer of TVI Corporation, Richard V. Priddy. "SafetyTech ideally complements TVI's existing customer base by providing additional strength in the first responder and military markets. Another strategic benefit of acquiring SafetyTech was to increase TVI's recurring revenue stream as PAPRs require filter replacements on an ongoing basis."

Priddy continued, "The SCDF order also is representative of the type of repeat business that SafetyTech's products can generate. This is the third significant order by the SCDF in the past three years. Going forward, we will continue to leverage SafetyTech's existing customer base and distribution network for additional business, as well as opportunities to cross sell TVI's expansive array of first responder product offerings."
