TV Guide Channel(R), a leading entertainment television network distributed in nearly 80 million homes, will make the final stop in its "Red Carpet Royalty Tour" (www.redcarpetroyalty.com) at the 78th Annual Academy Awards(R) on Sunday, March 5, 2006. Joan and Melissa Rivers Melissa Rivers (born on January 20, 1968) is an American actress and television co-host for fashion/red carpet interviews on cable and satellite television, previously for the E! cable network and currently for the TV Guide channel with her mother, comedian Joan Rivers. , the fiercely fashionable mother-daughter team, will get up close and personal with Hollywood's hottest stars and haute-est couture to give viewers the ultimate TV experience of the most glamorous night of the year.

Additionally, TV Guide Channel is once again partnering with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS AMPAS Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (since 1927; Beverly Hills, California) ) to serve as the "Ultimate Guide for the 78th Annual Academy Awards(R)." In a month-long promotion with AMPAS, TV Guide Channel will be co-branded using the official Oscar 2006 graphics package, making TV Guide the only officially Oscar-branded network other than ABC ABC
 in full American Broadcasting Co.
