Harvey Ivan Ponce-Gomez, a Nicaraguan national, is the third person captured from the bureau's most-wanted list since the agency launched it last month.

Ponce-Gomez was arrested Sunday when someone at a North Hills gasoline station recognized him from the May 24 episode of ``America's Most Wanted.'' The witness called authorities who quickly descended on the property, Acruate said.

Those whose names remain on the most-wanted list include a man last known to be in Glendale. Ecuadorean national Alberto Vinicio Torres, 41, is wanted for deportation after a conviction for lewd acts with a child, officials said.
