TV ANSWER AND HEWLETT-PACKARD TEAM UP ON INTERACTIVE TELEVISION SYSTEM

 TV Answer, the pioneer in interactive television and Hewlett- Packard, a leader in the electronics industry, will make a major industry announcement regarding the future of interactive television. The announcement marks Hewlett-Packard's initial foray into consumer electronics.
 The Hewlett-Packard/TV Answer agreement comes on the heels of the FCC decision last month to allocate 1 MHz of spectrum for interactive video services, beginning a licensing process that will bring interactive television into America's living rooms within months.
