TURNER FORECASTS CONTINUED INCREASES IN CONSTRUCTION COSTS.

 the Turner Building Cost Index, the second quarter index will increase 0.41 percent to 490, two points above the previous quarter, and 4.0 percent higher than the second quarter of 1994. This represents a reduced rate of increase in comparison to the previous three quarters.

Regional differences in the index continue to be very significant, with some areas of the country witnessing substantially higher increases in construction costs while other areas are relatively unchanged, said Stuart Robinson Stuart Robinson (born June 20, 1979, Carrickfergus, County Antrim) is a broadcaster on Northern Ireland radio.
